I hope at the very least, the 6-speed transmission, from the euro-urS4/6,
would bolt right up to the 3B (I don't see why it wouldn't). I would love
to swap out 3rd, 4th, and 5th for some shorter gears.

I keep noticing the s-car gang talking about a mod to get 6 speeds
from their boxes.
Is there such a possiblity for us without needing major work ?
I could talk myself into swapping out my (currently) OK gearbox, an
added gear to reduce the ratio gaps would be nice here in the hills.
I'd probably just keep the 5spd and make it an emergency backup.
