[200q20v] Insulating MAF sensor body?

Hi all,

There is an article in audiworld

titled "Insulating the Air Mass Sensor" by Choy Ngee Hoe
In it he says that keeping the heat off the sensor body improves power after
the engine is hot by allowing the MAF sensor to be more accurate.

Has anyone done this to our cars?  Comments?
