I have the Kumhos on my 16 - 8's. They actually pretty good tires. I had
one track day where I put 25+ track miles on them. They seem to squeal a
lot but grip well and hold up well. For the low price it is a very nice
tire.

My only set of H-rated CompTAs were on a vette in the 80s. I assume
they've changed, but maybe not. I had no problems going over Vail
Pass during a storm when the patrol was flipping between closing and
opening the pass. Not bad, it was fun looking at the 4x4s along the
roadside while tooling along in my fiberglass sled. It was wet and
sloppy stuff coming down fairly hard and I figured then plow had been
there about 10 mins before me.
