[200q20v] Audi leaking petosin, not the Jeep!

Oil all over the reservoir sounds like the famous Pentosin Volcano, which
normally results from the pump sucking air somewhere. Usually it means the
internal seals (a bunch of O Rings) have grown hard with age/heat, etc.,
and no longer provide complete sealing. You can buy a kit to reseal the
pump (procedure is described pretty well in the Bentley for your car) or
replace with a pump someone else resealed. The latter costs ~ ten times
the former.
