Well, Chris, if Bob Myers said it was flammable then Bob Myers screwed
up. The isobutane component will be flammable but when mixed with other
gases which could best be described as fire extinguisher
materials... (Fairly close chemically to Halon.) Well, it shouldn't burn
(as in burn like gasoline or natural gas or propane). Under high
temperature conditions, though, it can be made to "burn" and when it does
it can/will produce some rather unpleasant thermal decomposition products.

If I remember correctly, the discussion back in '98 concerned the use of
hydrocarbon refrigerants such as isobutane and/or isobutane mixed with
propane. Such mixtures will be highly flammable. Almost explosively so
when provided with oxygen and a source of ignition.

Then again you may be witnessing signs of advancing Alzheimer's.
