Dale,  Some time ago I developed a simple, cheap, and highly effective strut
brace (different from the usual tower braces) and made the design availabe
to the 200Q-20V list.  The details and some discussion are documented on
Chris Miller's web site.  I'll forward one of my more recent postings on
upper suspension braces, and you can search the archives for earlier
