[200q20v] V8 vs old S4(tramlining) - alignmnets

Its not only faith in alignment shops that is involved and at stake, but the
specs to which they work.  If they are working to Audi specs, camber for
example, @+/- 0.5 degree IMO. is a gross spec, inasmuch as this 1 degree is
a strut rod adjustment of 0.45", all within their green light!   You'll feel
that change and they will rightfully claim "in spec".

If you are a perfectionest, have a relatively flat concrete floor, and a few
simple tools (level, carpender's square, 5' straight edge, and plumb bob)
and time, you can do a much better job and know exactly what's going on.
