[200q20v] AC belt.....!

Thanks for the advice,  Everything that I saw listed all the belts the same
for all the turbo quattro engines.  I guess the distributor rotor is the
same way so who really knows what belts are required.

I'm going to try a AC belt .25" longer than the original.  I actually was
going to do what you said below but I was planning on using the starter
motor instead of turning the crankshaft by hand.  If I cant get it on I will
use the longer belt.

Phil , the alt. belt came of very easy, I just assumed the new one will go
on as easy.  I will soon find out if the parts guy gave me a shorter than
original belt.

I recall that the owner's manual lists the belt sizes - that should be 
cross checked with the album.
