[200q20v] Dash Switch Bulbs

I just bought these today at my local Audi dealer. $1.29 each. Out of 8
switch bulbs in my (new) 91 200 Avant, 91k mi., only one was working.
Replaced the seat heater bulbs also. My first time soldering and 100%
success rate, even with my shaky hands and bad eyes!! 'Bomb' and new shocks
on order. Oh yes, just broke the accelerator pedal cover while cleaning my
new baby today. Anybody repaired this, without buying a new one?
