Well, what's considered a lot of work?
You need an antenna installed, a pass-through on the glass (glue-on) would work.
You need the "brain", that's included, and mounts on the frame rail in the trunk. You need the wiring harness; I'll include that from the phone to the console.
You need a microphone and speaker; might be better to get that after market?
So, pretty easy overall; no more involved than any installation process for an installed phone.
