Within 2 months of having the Hoppen chip installed, my M-M hose went
from absolutely bone-dry (120k miles) to always being puddled with
oil. Of course that same 2-month period included a weekend at Watkins
Glen last summer, after which I first noticed the oil. I've decided
to limit concern (ever the optimist) to the M-M hose, which will
deteriorate more quickly--now that it's perpetually oily.
