[200q20v] RE: Gauge Pods?

I have tried Mustang and Honda pods, they don't fit and I couldn't even make
them fit with the hot air gun.

I finally made a three gauge pod from glas fibre. It replaces the entire a
pillarcover. I will remove this pod soon, I don't have any use for the
gauges in that car any more. The 80tq will get them instead. The pod aren't
even finished, I test fitted it and found that it was good enough for the
time. I was honestly very tired of working with plastic.

Anyway, I could make a copy of my pod if anyone is interested. The pod will
require some work before it is finished for fitting. I will only make a raw
copy. I guess that two hours work with filler and sandpaper is needed to
finish it.

If a few people are interested in these pods I could refine the plug to get
a better result. I don't see why five people shold do the same work...

I will drop down to the car and take a picture of the pod right now, I hope
that it is possible to get a good picture even if it is dark as ....
outside. I will post it in the gallery section of my home page within an
hour or two.
