Hello !

Here are the dedicated www-pages for
5 coil direct ignition system for A200 20V 3B / S2 3B

The UMBAU "should" be ready this summer.
Time has been limited.

It is not cost effective = true hobby
with many technical challenges,
but the only way to build Audi RS200 20V
with original electronic cabeling with "minor"
mods ...(which reminds something like -86 Talladega)

Lately I have been doing the Cruise control
mods for the carrier plate and planning the
fuel line mods. Otherwise engine is allmost
ready for installation. RS2 Turbo needs general
service round with new gaskets and some extra.

Final electronic system test
in current 3B with separate 5 x coils is
pending and shall be done very soon with
propper connections and end ignition
stage cooling plates.

There are several mechanical ways to do the coil system.
closest 3B Manifold system here

- it is "easiest" way to do with ABY parts

- remeber the time difference

PS. It is not distributorless ignition because
the system needs 3B distributor for acting as
a AAN Hall sending unit (very early -91 A100 S4
AANs were like that from factory)
