That's a good idea. 
I have an old broken radiator from a 92 bmw that has plastic ends.  I will
do a little experimentation on it with the various approaches I receive from
the list. 

Maybe I can take a piece of the old radiator and cement it over the hole,
then epoxy over that for added strength.

I would try ABS plastic pipe cemment.  Rough up the surface good with course
sand paper.  I assume that it is a very small hole, in which case several
coats without a hard patch may be all that you need.  Takes awhile to
evaporate all the solvent from a thick application though, Idling with the
press cap off will help speed up the process.
