Your probably right about a patch not being long term, however I am going to
try something.  
I will do a little tinkering on my scrap radiator and let the list know in a
few days what I go with.

Fortunately I have an extra car so time is not a problem.

Hello Les............I can't imagine any adhesive or chemical that would 
stick a patch on a plastic radiator and last for more than a few days.
