As our website (and report) explain we are dependant upon our data sources =
to provide to us the information we have on our reports.  In short, if the =
information is not reported to us, we can not offer it to our customers.

Thank you for your response, but I feel it missed the point entirely.

I understand that Carfax claims to sell a "vehicle history report" as you
stated.
However, how can they sell this "report" and neglect to include a piece of
vehicle history as significant as a salvage title?

Finding out if a vehicle has been involved in an accident worthy of totalin=

by an insurance company is precisely why consumers spend their hard-earned
dollars with Carfax.

The car was totaled in November 1999, and officially released to the
insurance company in January 2000.
Getting the inaccurate report "corrected" as you stated, does not address m=
y
question.

Why was this significant piece of vehicle history not included in your
"vehicle history report"?
