Hey, I resemble that remark! I weigh a "mere" 200 lbs and always
treat my bumper with great respect. :-)

The car pictured (above) is my own beloved--at WG, and frankly I'd
never noticed the misalignment. I guess a simple explanation is the
fact that a PO had some rear-end damage, and some repair can be seen
in the body panel beneath the bottom edge of the trunk lid. I suppose
that the rear bumper must have been replaced--leaving a slight
misalignment. Or it could be merely the bumper cover that's
misaligned. I've never removed it (the rear cover), but presumably it
attaches at each end in the manner of the front cover, which is easy
to get wrong.
