[200q20v] Distributor "fix" options

Hi Derek, Peter,

Peter, I had asked you to put my name in as interested depending on
the price. But did not see my name there... However, the option of
only buying the metal gear itself sounds interesting too.

I have a business acquaintance who has a machine shop in Sacramento
and is a gear specialist who does a lot of work replacing stripped
gears in military/aerospace applications. His internal machines are
not super high quality, I do not believe he can do better than
AGMA 7 or 8, (in fact he occasionally uses Seattle Gear Works for
very high precision spiral bevels for example), but this will be
more than sufficient for the gears we need.

I will sound him out on approximate price and let the group know.

It looks like it is a workable situation, the only question at this point is
what their cost of manufacturing will be.  In the least, I'm sure it'll be
cheaper than a new distributor.

I'll keep people posted as I learn more.
