Howdy all,

Just wanted to keep everybody posted on progress over here.

It looks like the gear project may have fell on tough times.  I got a
message back from Seattle Gear Works saying they are not sure they can cut
the gear that we are looking for.  They said they were not sure whether or
not they could cut such a steep "helical angle"

They gave me the name of another shop in the area, butt it turns out they
are actually a reseller, not a manufacturer.

So at this point, might be once again at a dead end.  I'll give Seattle Gear
Works a call on Monday for more info, but if anybody has any other
suggestions or lead, feel free to let me know.

I'll post more info as I get it.
