Relax ... remember, your wheels still turn ... you've got plenty of time
... just remember to check the charge on your fire extinguisher when the
culprit bearing finally freezes up. What's up? ... must be a bad case of fat
wallet putting your pants in that uncomfortable around the ankles position. I
think Alan may have a new corollary to the Benz philosophy that may get you
out of the predicament ...If it ain't broke, break it!
Alan - Sign me up for the distributor gear GP, I plan to break my original at
the appropriate time.

A few feet would do absolutely no harm. A few hundred miles with wobbly

Bernie, don't despair, there is a way out!!!
1) Loosen up the large (axle) nut from both wheels.
2) drive vehicle backwards or forwards a few feet
Both bearings are now BAD!!!
3) Replace both bad bearings

You can feel the tension building as listers everywhere ponder the
unthinkable question.....Will he fix something that ain't broke?
