Don't hold your breath.  It's been almost a month or two already
since the recall was announced, and as far as I've heard(nothing) the
recall still has not been announced to owners nor has a "solution"
been found by Audi.  Not particularly confidence-inspiring.

Flush the system immediately with Pentosin 11S; you don't have to go
to the dealer for the Pentosin, a lot of parts places carry it, so
shop around a little.  The procedure is in the Bently and I think
Chris Miller's site, but I believe it involves pulling a low-lying
hose in the system, turning the steering lock to lock with the front
wheels off the ground, and discharging the pressure accumulator by
pumping the brakes until the pedal goes hard(should be a LOT of
pumps; if it's under 10, the pressure accumulator is gone and needs
replacing.)  A search of the archives should turn up the correct
procedure and the quantity of fluid required.
