I'm pretty happy with my Canon Powershot S300, had it since late May. Very =
compact (only the S100/S110 are smaller, but they don't zoom as much), seem=
s to take good pictures & was one of the first to take short movie clips - =
but I am a point-and-shoot kind of guy, not a "serious photographer". There=
is always something newer and shinier, of course... My main quibbles with =
my camera are that the USB connection won't work with my Win95OSR2 home PCs=
(might "upgrade" one of these days, but I got an Iomega Fotoshow that copi=
es CompactFlash/SmartMedia cards to Zip disk) and that I don't think it wil=
l work with a Microdrive so I am probably limited to 192MB cards (the large=
st shown supported) - I have a 128MB card now, it came with a measly 8MB.
Here are some links:

zon now has them for $500 (what I paid on eBay in June)

hallenge, have been cropped and resaved to fit in ISP's disk limitations

d of September in Denver (I drove the Audi! MAC), ditto cropping & resaving
