Heard from a friend/fellow racing enthusiast yesterday who told me that he
has heard that an ALMS race is being planned for July 2002 in Washington,
DC.  Venue not yet known.  Just thought I'd pass it on........

On another note, I stopped by the local dealership the other today and
picked up the 2002 A6/S6 brochures.  I was surprised and disappointed to see
that the 2002 S6 Avant was only available with tiptronic, not manual,
transmission.  Wonder why?
