[200q20v] Factory CD Changers

Sorry Chewy, but the "factory" CD option for our cars is exactly as
Derek describes, FM-modulation and all.

Derek, your problem sounds similar to what's afflicting my _factory_
CD changer. In my case the CD loads and actually plays OK for close
to 5 minutes, and then the sound fades to down nothing. Others have
said this is symptomatic of a problem with the FM-modulator (George
Sidman, wasn't that you?), but I haven't had a chance to pull the
modulator unit and check it out (swap in a working one, etc). BTW,
IIRC mine's set for 88.3 Mhz.
