BTDT about a year ago. Not a fun job, but do-able without
removing the fuel rail. The hose connector to the banjo
fitting goes bad, and the only fix is replacement. The new
regulator and hose assembly snakes very neatly into place.
When you remove the old regulator you will probably destroy
the two rubber mounts, so you will need those as well. As I
recall, this job is made easier by removing the nearby
grounding plate, to allow access to the regulator. Those
ground connectors could probably use a good cleaning anyway.
A new vacuum hose is very easily installed during this
project as well.
