Steve:

Right above the passenger-side headlight is a hole in the valence - I 
carefully drilled another hole and remounted the post facing the firewall - 
closer and easier access that way.

I guess other related questions would be
- what do folks use for the ground (-) lead?
-and has anyone found a set of cables where the jaws are actually able to 
fit onto the + post ?
