Yes, there is "more light" from 9007 lamps, but not particularly
aimed where you need/want it, since that added intensity is still
spraying out through those crummy DOT-approved lenses. And if my
neighbor's experience is typical, the headlight reflectors might
begin to char-broil in a matter of months (depending on amount of
use, of course).
