Dunno if this helps, but when the battery in my car recently died, somethin=
g similar happened: tried to start, ruur ruuur ruuuur... jump start, drive =
around for a while, check running voltage (fine)... notice that "outside te=
mp" LED on CC just started not working. Won't start again after driving for=
an hour, battery won't take a charge, chase around town to locate a proper=
ly vented battery, install it, hey that LED works again!
It was just the outside temp LED in my case, the other ones still worked wh=
ile driving on the flat battery. I'm not sure but suspect there is somethin=
g about the flat battery system - maybe the alternator trying to charge it,=
pushing a higher voltage? or a little ripple because the battery isn't buf=
fering as well? -
that the LEDs don't like. I would recommend holding off on troubleshooting =
the climate control until your battery/charging system is known to be healt=

>I had a dead battery that was removed to be charged. After reinstalling
the battery the LEDs in the climate control head display will not come
on. The AC and heat still work fine.
>Any ideas ? or did I just blow out the LEDs in the head ?
