You mentioned a KN filter.
At some cars the oil from the KN hit the warming and
measure wires causing damaging or odd readings of the MAF.
A defective MAF - not defective enough to trig the ECU fault codes may be the culprit.
Same problem if the fuel pressure is too high.
The O2 sensor is used up to approx. 4200 rpm.
Above 4200 rpm and under boost the fuel chip is used for
fuel calculation without feed back.
I don't now the test, but is it If the test is done with 4500 rpm
and boost we may have the problem.
