rotor specs - when to replace?

What friction surfaces? I use the wider backing plates to remove the inner
and outer wear ridges on the rotors before replacing pads. Noisey, but it
works.
But I'm with you Glen, slotted rotors are in, and look cool when you wear
them down such that the internal cooling passages show through the surfaces.
Glen, with your excellent post I hereby appoint you a chaarter member of my
"Don't fix it if it ain't broke" club. Congradulations!
