Hey Brian,
I just did mine while doing a head gasket and a million other things... What
I learned was: take the grill and the intercooler out. Much improved access.
The IC is kind of a pain to remove, but worth it in the long run. Set the
engine to TDC and get familiar with the timing marks before you disassemble.
Makes it much easier. Use caution when removing the upper timing belt
cover... very brittle plastic. Might want to consider changing your other
drive belts at the same time while you have easy access. Other than that,
it's a pretty easy task. If you get into trouble, feel free to give a
yell... I'm in CO too, and happy to lend a hand or even have you come over to
do it.
