Bose Recall Surprise

Well, Guys,

When I spoke with the tech and another tech with whom I'd worked years ago
they were actually pretty helpful, even going so far as to check (without my
prompting) to see if our cars were subject to the fuel line recall.  This
was the second car they came across with a soldered-in circuit board.  They
called Audi when they encountered the first one and were told 'only those
with plug-in boards were to be replaced.'

Unfortunately, I'll be out of the country for a week, but be rest assured
that I will call Audi about this when I get back.  I was just wondering if
anyone else had this experience or (and it's quite possible), they just
would give you the car back if it was the soldered-in board.
