G60 brake pad questions

The spring clips help reduce squeal- I wouldn't worry about it too much, I've
not had problems w/ my 5ktq's G60s w/o the clips. I wouldn't worry too much
about the pad wear sensors either, but I take a look at my front brakes every
now and then just to make sure the pad wear is consistent.

Depending on how you drive at the track, I would consider getting a dedicated
set of track pads- you might kill your Hawk HPS at the track. At the minimum,
bring a spare set or two of pads, along with brake bleeding equipment and a
can or two of fluid in case you boil fluid or melt down pads.
