Is the IA III+ a very recent mod? If the check engine light began to
come on soon after the ECU was chipped, then I'd certainly get in
touch with Ned about it. Many cars have had the check engine light
removed by technicians who were not able to diagnose any cause for
the light being on. So I imagine it's certainly possible to get the
light without any accompanying stored code.
Under what conditions does the light come on?
