This is all so predictable.  Every time, I mean EVERY time, there
is this pissing contest.

Just hit the delete key and move on.  The amount of email
generated by the subsequent sniping and moaning about
is always as much and often a couple times MORE than
the auto-replies alone, not to mention the generally unpleasant
atmosphere.  Please, don't let the thoughtless though unitentional
mistake of another lister diminish the atmosphere of the list.
