Short shifter

Huw Powell's web site has a good _verbal_ description of doing this
on an Audi 90.

and it's probably very similar (if not identical) to what would be
needed on our cars.

I thought that Huw (or someone else) had also published diagrams
showing the drilling needed to reduce the "throw angle", but I can't
locate that.
