Oil in IC hoses revisited

Thanks for the link.  Yeah, I remember Brandon's blown dipstick mystery.


About the pic...Oohh -- pretty (in a utilitarian way).  Yep, there wasn't
one in my car.  Ordered the valve ~$50, Flame arrestor ~$13 and new O-ring
for IC connection pipe ~$3.  Plus I have a new bypass valve that I'll
install at the same time.  Think it might be a good idea to remove all hoses
and IC and flush them all out?  I wouldn't be surprised if I have ½ quart of
oil in the intake system before the throttle body.
