Jim, I am glad to hear you're one of the fortunate ones who wound up with
good 850/V70s. I know they're out there. (Could you ever get the thing to
handle well? Ours handled like kaka, even the stock 1995 A6q Avant-running
60 series all season rubber-we just bought smokes it in cornering.)

After we bought ours was when I started hearing the horror stories. Then I
started living them myself. The 1994 850t wagon we had was the absolute
worst car I have ever owned. (I lost count at over 30 vehicles owned since
the late 1970s..including no less than four *Fiats*!) The 850t was good at
one thing, going fast in a straight line, but my nearly 200k mile old 5ktq
with qlcc mods could take it in a straight line, and trash it in the
twisties--good riddance.

Some other good ovloV resources include: swedespeed.com and volvospeed.com
(the later being an excellent service resource). Personally, I still
wouldn't go there (FWD ovloV). I would still recommend a 740/940t though.
