Bose Speakers Again

I'm having a similar problem with my front speakers
(mainly the left) - but there is no squawking. When I
turn on the radio, just enough to turn it on but not
enough to hear the music, I hear static - a little
lower in volume than a conversation voice, but
definatly audible. I have not had the car long, so i
have not broke into the speaker yet. Should I go ahead
and change the caps, or is this somthing else?
