85 degrees C is still pretty darn hot- 185 degrees F actually.  If
the speaker units in the doors are getting that hot, you're probably
going to have other problems.  Like first degree burns on your skin
from the leather and every other surface in the car.  Or that you've
passed out from heat stroke :-)

I recommended 105 degree ratings and higher voltages for
reliability/durability.  The automotive environment is considered
pretty rough, and the extra cost(if any) is negligible.

 From a strictly armchair-engineer standpoint, I'd say 85 degree
rating is probably fine.
