Hot start issue

It happened while I still lived in upstate NY about a year or so ago.  If the car
sat for about 1/2 hr or so it would be a real bear to re-start.  Stone cold it
started great.  I think Phil's theory is a good one.  Art Mayhew at Salisbury
Motorcar thought it might be the fuel pressure regulator, but that tested fine.
The check valve was shot; Art said that you could just blow right through it.  No
problems since replacement.
