Yep. On actual, measured fill-ups of at least 10 gallons, I've
routinely gotten 26+ mpg for steady 75-80 mph driving on flat or
gently rolling sections of NYS Thruway. My trip computer has been
adjusted to be well within 5% of actual, and it often indicates 28+
during fairly extended periods (150+ miles) of driving if I keep
speeds down to 70 mph. I've averaged 29-ish on the computer once in a
while (for 50 or 60 mile stretches) if there's a little breeze at my
back :-) It doesn't take much "toe-action" to send the averages into
the toilet. I do concentrate on maintaining a steady throttle to stay
above 26 mpg.

Around town I seldom average better than 17 or 18 mpg. I have the Hoppen chip.
