Rim offsets and parking brake

Dave,

Factory offset was 35mm 7.5 x 15" wheel or 8 x 16" wheel. When changed over
to G60's (as in later urS4) this became ET40. I ran compomotive 8 x 17
ET30, which would fit over the UFO's (though I had G60's and Porsche Big
Reds).

What to look out for:
Steering knuckle clearance, rubbing inside or outside fenders (front and
back) and obviously, UFOs not hitting wheel (hence 30-35mm offset).

You'll notice Tire Rack needs to do some updating on their website: Only
17" wheels are listed. Plus, Tire Rack tends to have some of the
better/pricier wheels out there. It all depends on your budget.

re: Parking Brake Parts:

Set of parking brake cables only (though sticking internal parking brake
mechanism inside calipers are often culprits as well).

HTH
