Pretty big puff of oil smoke at cold start-up

Puffy blue smoke, right?  My first guess would be valve stem seals.
Normally not a problem, but when you shut off the car, the oil tends to leak
down into the cylinder.

You may want to check for excessively play in turbo shaft if you have alot
of oil in the IC hoses.
