It seems like some cars require an adapter, which may increase the job time
considerably.  My pump slid out of its housing and the new one slid right in.
 Very quick and easy.

Maybe 30-40min is more realistic, provided you don't have to use a different
diameter pump and the necessary modifications that go with it.
