Fault Codes from Stockton!

Adam and I just had a lengthy conversation via IM.

I've advised him to double check all the fuses and if they are OK,
pull both ECU fuses to reset the codes, replace, crank for 15
seconds, and then pull the codes to see what comes up.

Here's the mystery, at least to me...#27 is the only fuse they didn't
check, but if it's blown, he wouldn't have any codes period...so I
guess my money is on fuse #28, but if fuse #28 is blown, the ECU
should be dead to the world and unable to store a fault code?

grrrr...
