U.S. Type 44 rear fog lights?

There is only one area set up for a SINGLE fog light (left rear), as
Europeans decided TWO rear fogs could be confused with brake lights. It's
just in the US (and often with Jaguars) that dual rear fogs are installed.
No factory provision in the rear light lens for this in the Audi, though,
however. This can be changed. The original setup has three wires leading
to a dual filament 1157? bulb just under the left rear backup light. This
may be your problem -- you may only have a single element bulb here or you
may have a break in the trunk hinge area.
If a like connector (447 945 265 A) is set up on the right side with a wire
(green?) connecting the two -- instant dual rear fogs.
