It could be your cap and/or rotor, a similar thing happened to me (and I
lost the starter at the same time, which I think was unrelated) and I
replaced the two and was on my way. It did appear as if I had spark,
but it wasn't strong enough. If you believe everyone's anti-stock
distributor sentiments, then you might as well replace the distributor
also.
