I called Stongard today (800-350-4897)
, after checking their website @ www.stongard.com
Seems I remember only one p/n for 200q20v models. Guess
my memory went from right to wrong, cause their updated
site has a new car application guide. They show two
p/n's for for original lights, and european lenses:
"This kit contains pieces to protect the following
pieces
StonGard Light for 1989-1991 Audi 200/1986-1988 Audi
5000 Turbo, Head Light, left, part # 020781
$19.76
StonGard Light for 1989-1991 Audi 200/1986-1988 Audi
5000 Turbo, Head Light, right, part # 020782
$19.76"
and,
"StonGard Light for 1989-1991 Audi 200 w/European
lens/1986-1988 Audi 5000 Turbo w/European lens, Head
Light, pair, part # 997140
$19.76 "
I suspect each light cover is the $19.76 price, will
confirm with them.
No afilitation, vested interest, etc, just the copying
from their website.
Will post a note later regarding my cracked lense
situation, with the hit outside the undersized stongard
cover.
3M's website shows "Where to buy", looks like
distributors, so if your "newest best buddy" at your
friendly body shop should be able to order the bulk
material, you could cut your own, so to speak.
Later, Gary Anderson
