I agree wholeheartedly with your final comment. Fix it and drive.
Just because it would be for a recall instead of service funded by my
wallet, I'd feel no more at ease taking my car to a dealer.
FYI, the person on the ABC morning show about the exploding minivan was a
middle-aged white male.
